Zeta Ophiuchi, a star 20 times bigger than the sun

It may not look like much, but the blue spot near the centre of this image is Zeta Ophiuchi, a hot star 20 times larger than the sun. Ploughing its way through a large cloud of interstellar dust and gas, when seen in visible light it appears as a relatively dim red star surrounded by other dim stars and no dust.

Everybody must have heard about the show “Pimp My Ride” with the funny host Xzibit. Here you can see a selection of ten rides that have crazy and amazing interiors. You can find anything from Hello Kitty and Xbox interior to Retro and Rainbow interior. It must have cost loads of money to create something like that. Imagine owning one. I know I wouldn’t feel so comfortable riding in one of these because they attract way to much attention.

Chinese artist Dai Geng is asking 80,000 for this BMW even though it handles like a brick. And that’s because it is one – or rather hundreds to be precise. He spent more than a year cementing the brick blocks together which he then carved into a sporty 155mph BMW 6 series, and even managed to make brick hinges so the doors open and close.

Crystal Boxing Punch

You can’t get it more bling than this. Artist Fred Brathwaite, also known as Fab 5 Freddy, is making crystal clads from Swarovski crystals. He puts the crystals on images of boxers, and the clad are not inexpensive obviously. One of the boxers are the British Champion David Haye, but Fab Freddy doesn’t care about the persons, he just want to make them shine. The crystals say something about the boxers glowing and fly lifestyle.
