Bizarre Sculptures by Johnson Tsang

Johnson Tsang is a Hong Kong sculptor specializing in ceramics, stainless steel sculpture and public art work. Tsang’s works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Spain and Switzerland and collected by local and overseas museums and collectors. Tsang’s works mostly employ realist sculptural techniques accompanied by surrealist imagination, integrating the two elements, “human beings” and “objects”, into creative themes.

Open-air Exhibition Pandas World Tour – Taipei, China

“Pandas World Tour” exhibition by French artist Paul Grangenon arrive at the Citizens’ Square in Taipei, southeast China’s Taiwan, Feb. 27, 2014. A total of 1,600 pandas and Formosan black bears made of environmentally-friendly paper material went on show here on Thursday. The event aims at promoting environmental protection and raising the public’s awareness of animal preservation. All of the paper pandas and black bears on display will be open for charity sale after the event concludes on March 30.

The world's longest wooden sculpture

A wooden sculpture, featuring the famous painting Along the River During the Qingming Festival in China, succeeds in creating a new Guinness World Record – “the world’s longest wooden sculpture” – on November 14, 2013. Chinese artist Zheng Chunhui spent four years creating the sculpture, which is 12.286 meters long, 3.075 meters high and 2.401 meters wide.
