Everybody must have heard about the show “Pimp My Ride” with the funny host Xzibit. Here you can see a selection of ten rides that have crazy and amazing interiors. You can find anything from Hello Kitty and Xbox interior to Retro and Rainbow interior. It must have cost loads of money to create something like that. Imagine owning one. I know I wouldn’t feel so comfortable riding in one of these because they attract way to much attention.

BMW made out of bricks

Chinese artist Dai Geng is asking 80,000 for this BMW even though it handles like a brick. And that’s because it is one – or rather hundreds to be precise. He spent more than a year cementing the brick blocks together which he then carved into a sporty 155mph BMW 6 series, and even managed to make brick hinges so the doors open and close.

First, a little history. The concept for the BMW art cars was introduced by Hervé Poulain, an auctioneer and ardent racing driver from France. Poulain was searching for a link between art and cars and he asked his friend and renowned artist Alexander Calder to paint a rolling canvas on the BMW 3.0 CSL that he would race in the 1975 Le Mans endurance race.

Cars sales in the United States don’t look all that much different for 2009 than they have for the past few years in terms of which models are going out the showroom door in the greatest numbers.
