Cecelia Webber – artist born in New Hampshire working primarily in experimental digital photography and acrilic painting. After graduating in 2008 from the University of Souhern California, her Flower Series went viral online and rapidly gained international exposure, propelling her into the spotlight across the blogosphere. Cecelia’s artwork has been featured in many international publications.
With boxing sports there is always the opportunity for right moments photography. Often the most amazing and bizarre images are mostly taken right at the moment when boxers get punched in face. Sometimes these are look painful though some are just plain funny. The Dutch artist Henk Hofstra has really some unique art works. He mostly likes to paint object from the countryside, like beautiful landscapes, cows and colorful flowers. Sometimes he takes another turn and goes to Amsterdam to shoot some amazing city photos. Several times he has mixed up photography and painting.
These photos are from Lu Guang’s documentary project “Pollution in China”. His work often focus on people that live poorly, and at the bottom of the society. He is now a freelance photographer but was earlier a factory worker. For this project he has travelled around China photographing the consequences of pollution.
