Using different drinks is a unique way to describe several famous movies. This project was done in collaboration with EveryGuyed and Suitored, and the title they added to the project name was: 20 Classic Men’s Movies Liquerated. The design of the illustrations was done by Glenn Michael who also is the illustrator. It shows different drinks and glasses that represent movies like American Pie, The Departed and The Hangover. The illustration series is called “Mixed Reviews” with a style that is definitely minimalism and the way the movies are represented are really clever and delicate. They have even put in a couple of non alcoholic drinks to please everybody’s taste. Speaking of alcohol, you should check out this dog that is crazy about beer.

[…] One of the highly respected artist in UK Stanley Chow is making stunning illustrations. They have something that is very unique about them and the style is simple and modern. He was born in Manchester, and he became an fashion illustrator and storyboard artist in 1997. He has worked with everything from design and packaging to advertising and animation. Here you have a selection of his best work, but then again he is working all the time with new things, so I guess it’s wrong to say that this is his best projects, but they are amazing. You can recognize a lot of famous faces and movies in his illustrations, like for example Wolverine, Muhammad Ali and Christiano Ronaldo to movies/TV shows like Inception and Dexter. They all have geometric lines, but they all look like some kind of caricatures, because they are funny but easy to recognize. We all hope that he will come out with some new projects soon.
